Kathy Hubble
FOUNDER AND CLIENT CHAMPION
With over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, Kathy Hubble's career spans diverse medical disciplines, including Gynaecology Oncology, Emergency, Anaesthetics, and Recovery. For the past two decades, she has specialized in pain management, earning a master's degree in pain medicine and sharing her expertise through extensive lecturing across Australia.
Kathy's commitment to revolutionizing pain management led her to establish her private clinic in Southern Highlands, NSW, in 2003. A trailblazer, she introduced the first successful pilot pain management program in a GP practice. Her contributions extend to pivotal roles in crafting Clinical Practice Guidelines for Nurses in Pain Management and chairing the Chronic Pain Clinical Practice Guidelines for Osteopathy Australia for seven years.
A member of the International Association for the Study of Pain Education Special Interest Group, Kathy combines her extensive experience in helping individuals overcome chronic pain with a passion for educating healthcare professionals and effective business management.

CO- FOUNDER AND ADVISOR
An educator, mindfulness teacher, and seasoned Osteopath & Western Medical Acupuncture Practitioner, excels in crafting course materials and curriculum, particularly evident in his pivotal contributions to Amelio Health's groundbreaking chronic pain program.
His expertise spans various domains, including Osteopathic Manual Therapy, occupational health, rehabilitation, gerontology, pain management, Western Medical Acupuncture, and Mindfulness. Stiofán's proficiency extends beyond practice into the realm of education.
At Amelio Health, Stiofán played an instrumental role in the development of course materials and curriculum for the innovative chronic pain program. Leveraging his vast experience and knowledge, he designed a comprehensive program focused on empowering individuals to manage chronic pain effectively.
Transitioning seamlessly into his current role as Amelio's Director of Program Development and Research, Stiofán continues to channel his wealth of experience to spearhead the ongoing research initiatives and advancements within the organization. His dedication to education and program development remains integral to Amelio Health's mission of revolutionizing chronic pain management.

Don Thomson
VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGIC ALLIANCES
Don leads the development of strategic partnerships focused on expanding access to evidence-based chronic pain solutions across insurers, workers’ compensation boards, absence and disability management providers, and large employers.
With more than 30 years of experience working at the intersection of healthcare delivery, insurance, and workforce health, Don brings a deep understanding of how chronic conditions impact individuals, employers, and benefit systems. Throughout his career, he has collaborated closely with reinsurance companies, insurers, third party administrators, absence and disability management organizations, and self-insured employers to design and implement programs that help individuals return to function, remain productive, and regain quality of life.
Don’s work has spanned multiple disease states, including chronic pain, mental health, cancer, diabetes, and cardiovascular disease, with a consistent focus on reducing unnecessary medical utilization, shortening disability durations, and improving sustainable outcomes for both individuals and payers.
Don also has been an angel investor and strategic advisor for over 15 years, conducting due diligence on more than 1,000 companies, with a particular emphasis on health technology, digital therapeutics, and services that demonstrably improve human and economic outcomes.
At Amelio Health, Don focuses on building and strengthening alliances that enable payers and employers to address chronic pain more effectively, supporting individuals in reclaiming their lives while helping organizations manage cost, risk, and long-term workforce sustainability.

Dr. Xavier Jimenez
DIRECTOR, CLINICAL ADVISORY BOARD
Dr. Xavier Jimenez (Dr X) is Director of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and Chronic Pain Consultation at Long Island Jewish Medical Center (Northwell Health).
He completed psychiatry residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, followed by psychosomatic medicine fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Northwell Health in 2020, he worked in the Cleveland Clinic for over 7 years and served as the director of the Chronic Pain Rehabilitation Program and Department in the Neurological Institute.
He is board certified in Pain Medicine, Addiction Medicine, and Psychiatry. He continues to see complex chronic pain/psychiatry patients, training fellows and residents while contributing to the literature as well as in national pain management organizations.
He is an active standing member of the American Academy of Pain Medicine, where he has presented poster, oral, and enduring content presentations. His research in pain medicine includes outcomes analyses of interdisciplinary chronic pain care, chronic pain psychopharmacology, and biopsychosocial care models.
